$10 million molestation verdict hits Tam schools

May 16, 2022 by Marin Leave a Comment

The Tamalpais Union High School District was slammed by a Marin County jury last week in a $10 million sexual predator case.

A former student, who is now 36, claimed the school district was negligent when it failed to protect him from the school’s tennis coach, Normandie Burgos. Burgos is now in jail for 255 years to life for molesting tennis players in Richmond.

The jury found that the school district was 100% at fault and awarded the former student $10 million. The school district had no comment on the verdict.
