Transparency is the key. To that end, Marin County Public Health Officer Matt Willis identified the key indicators for moving into the next phase of reopening in Marin.
- COVID-19 cases and the number of hospitalized patients for COVID-19 remain stable enough to maintain adequate hospital capacity.
2. Testing capacity. The County has set a goal of 500 tests on average per day
3. Contact tracing — able to reach people within 24 hours of possible coming in contact with an infected person.
4. Hospitals having at least a 30-day access to PPP (personal protective equipment like masks and face shields.
