Through Thursday Nov. 2, Dia de Los Muertos is celebrated at Taco Jane’s in San Anselmo. The community is invited to participate by placing photos, objects, anything that may remind you of someone close or far that has departed on the front porch of the restaurant. Extra picture frames available for those that may need them.
The ofrendas represent a remembrance of the departed, a reminder that life is eternal and that presence of the deceased loved one is everlasting. The ofrenda speaks of affection toward the departed and are an expression of love towards life.
