The town of Fairfax is following Novato in moving to ban new gasoline stations. Fairfax is considering an ordinance to do so on Nov. 16. Novato’s City Council approved such an ordinance last month and will make it official this month.
Petaluma was the first city in the nation to ban new gas stations.
