As Marin turns, our state representative let’s us know he’s standing guard

If it were not so funny, you’d be tempted to cry at how hard new Marin state representative Damon Connolly is trying to stay relevant in his new elected position. 

He went from the Marin County Board of Supervisors – an office where real power in Marin is held – to the state legislature. Look, I’m not saying the state legislature is chopped liver, I’m just saying that when it comes to the lives of people here, the state legislature is weak sauce at best.

But, I’ll give Rep. Damon an “E” for effort. He’s trying to stay in the news. Take a look at the story linked below. He’s introducing a bill to prevent kids from getting poisoned at school by pesticide use. Read how there’s already a strict state law that does that. But just to make super-doubly sure that if anyone is ever thinking about killing school kids by spraying poison near a school when kids are present, Rep. Damon is here to save the day. 

Let us know – and we know you will – if that bill ever sees the light of day, Rep. Damon. 

DSA NAZIS

On the day set aside to remember the Jewish Holocaust at the hands of Nazis during World War II, the modern day Nazis — the Democratic Socialists of America — held rallies to protest Marin elected leaders who will not condemn Israel after Hamas’ terrorist attack on Oct. 7.

Stand fast, Marin officials. The DSA should be shunned for its crazy position, which is to blame Israel for the Hamas attack. Anyone with eyes to see knows this.
