HopMonk, a music venue in Novato, will reopen and management says patrons will be asked if they are vaccinated to enter.

HopMonk “will be adhering to all California and local Covid-19 related mandates. For the comfort and safety of all, we have installed a 2-tiered air purification system consisting of a self-cleaning, bipolar ionization generator and an ultraviolet germicide irradiation light in both the Abbey and the Session Room HVAC systems,” said a press release.

In addition, “We’re asking that everyone attending our shows be vaccinated or have a negative Covid-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the show. You will be asked if you are vaccinated; guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so. If you are not comfortable with our approach, consider attending one of our outdoor performances or visit at a later date.”
