Candidate picks up trash left behind by Novato homeless

The city said it would take weeks to clean up the mess left by a homeless encampment behind Novato Fair Shopping Center. A City Council candidate with a little help from his friends did it in a day.

Novato City Council candidate Andy Podshadley took matters into his own hands, cleaning up garbage left behind in homeless encampments in the creek behind Novato Fair Shopping center.

    Where is he taking it? Who is dumping it? Is the specific spot private proerty of the shopping center?

      He paid for a dump run out of his own pocket. The creek is City property and City responsibility.
