Money Taken: Overnight someone entered a red Prius and took $25. The car was not locked. (Yes, everyone is thinking the same thing.)
Skiff Fight: Two men argued over tying a skiff to the dock and knots came to blows. Police called.
Burglary: A homeowner on Cazneau Avenue found her garage door open and the vehicles inside ransacked. Homeowner believes that the criminal gained access by previously stealing her garage door opener from her car.
Burglary: A silver Nissan was broken into on Wolfback Ridge Road.
Playing Doubles: People were playing doubles tennis. Only singles allowed. Police called to the scene of the crime.
Trumpets: Four people playing trumpets on the front yard of a house on Cazneau Avenue were making a racket, according to neighbors who called the cops.
Virus Watchers: A nosy citizen called police on people sitting on a bench outside a restaurant. The citizen said their were 5-10 people sitting there. Police rolled and found four people sitting on the patio, which was not open to the public.
Sound of Drugs: The people next door on Fourth Street were having a party and it sounded “like they’re doing drugs,” a caller said. Police checked it out. All was quiet.
Fire Crime: A resident on Miller Avenue called the cops on his neighbor who was using a wood burning stove on a spare the air day.
Chainsaws: A resident on Vista Clara Road called police about chainsaws and leaf blowers being used in the area. Police rolled and found it was fire prevention work. Let the resident know.
No Leashes: A citizen called the cops about four dogs off leash on Valley Street.
Social Distance Crimes: A concerned citizen called police on the “massive” numbers of people in the park not paying attention to social distancing. Police were just there, however, and found everyone in the park doing their part.
Dog Watcher: The citizen on Valley Street is at it again. Called the police about 4-5 dogs off leash.
Too Many Cars: A resident on Cazneau Avenue complained to police that too many “non-residents” were parking on his street.
