The Marin County Sheriff’s Department labeled the death of an elderly man in San Geronimo Valley as “suspicious.” Upon closer examination by the coroner, it was determined he was kicked in the head by a horse. The Identity of the man has been withheld for now.
A call came in, the department said, about “1851 hours (6:51 p.m.) on June 2.” A man in his 80s suffered from”a head wound and fall in the area of Wild Iris Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.”
