Electrify Marin ‘roadmap’ is about as bureaucratic and eye-glazing as it gets; I defy anyone to make sense of it

Sherman R. Frederick/Properly Subversive

I tried — I mean I really, really tried — to make sense out of the document Marin County is holding up as a “roadmap” to push all Marin buildings, houses and cars into 100% electric use.

Here’s a blurb that pretends to explain it all. Please, click on the link “supplementary document” and you tell me what the hell all this means. Somebody in Marin government is spending a lot of time and money on this stuff. I think we’d be better off of we stop and put that money into fixing pot holes.

Here’s the blurb. Dig in, friends. You tell me.

“In concert with community stakeholders, Marin Climate and Energy Partnership and County of Marin have drafted recommended key actions to equitably transition Marin’s buildings to an all-electric and energy efficient future. They are requesting your feedback on proposed actions. To give feedback please take the following survey by March 5. For more details download this supplementary document on the key actions proposed.”
