Fairfax Town Council meets Wednesday (Jan. 20)

January 18, 2021 by Marin Leave a Comment

Ross Valley Reporter

A number of items are on tonight’s (Jan. 20) Fairfax Town Council agenda.

They include a petition submitted by residents to establish a skate/scooter park on Town property. The item is expected to be referred  to the Parks and Recreation Commission (PARC) for analysis and recommendation.

The Council will also discuss the idea of forming a Community Emergency/Disaster Preparedness Committee and appoint an Ad-Hoc Council Subcommittee to develop a recommendation for the Committee’s role and structure. This was previously discussed in December.

Another topic expected to bring discussion is the appeal of a Planning Commission denial of a Height Variance for an unpermitted Ground Floor Level on Crest Road that would result in the height of the residential structure being approximately 50 feet.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be shown on Cable TV Channels 27 and 99.
