To get ready for Marin’s move to all electric use, a forum will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon will be held on Marin’s Electrification Plan, which is nearing completion, aiming to rapidly phase in electric appliances to reduce a quarter of Marin’s GHG emissions.
And the Air Quality District’s new NOx rules will likely phase out the purchase of gas water heaters in 2027 and gas furnaces in 2029.
