
Sausalito’s 4th of July Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on July 4, starting on the corner of Second and Main, it moves along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street and ends at Dunphy Park. This year’s Grand Marshall, Tricia Smith.
Gather for an afternoon picnic at Dunphy Park. Broham, an Americana band from Sonoma County, will rock from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the gazebo. The annual egg toss and tug of war competitions will be there.
Sausalito Rotary will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Sausalito Lions Club will sell veggie burgers. Galilee Harbor will sell fish & chips, fries, corn, and watermelon. Also available sno-cones, sodas, wine, margaritas, and Lagunitas beer.
Sausalito Parks & Recreation will have sodas, sno-cones, and locally designed t-shirts for sale.
The evening events will take place at Gabrielson Park. Pride & Joy, the Bay Area’s favorite party band, will keep attendees dancing from 6:30-9 p.m. Fireworks will begin around 9:15 p.m. and last for half an hour.
Casablanca Food Truck will be serving Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. Table reservations can be made here: www.sausalito.gov/register
