From the Marin County Sheriff’s Department:
On Jan. 4, detectives with the Marin County Specialized Investigative Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in San Rafael. Alson Conkey, 58, a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of several unregistered handguns, a shotgun, and a stolen assault rifle. Hundreds of rounds of ammunition were also located along with brass knuckles. Additionally, suspected cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and oxycodone was located inside the residence. Jessica Dwyer, 40, was also contacted during the execution of the search warrant and was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants. Dwyer was booked at the Marin County Jail for her warrants and Conkey was booked for multiple felonies and misdemeanors. A Marin County judge authorized a bail enhancement for Conkey, holding him on $1,000,000 bail.
The Marin County Specialized Investigative Unit is composed of personnel from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Novato Police Department, and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
This guy was arrested for drug dealing not that long ago in Novato, let out, and is at it again smh! What does it take to keep our streets safe from these predators?!
