Opinion: How Marin County keeps illegal immigrant ‘community’ a permanent underclass

Here’s the latest headline from the little county of Marin, across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, home of the Grateful Dead, Gov. Gavin Newsom and a tribe of rich, white left-wingers too woke for themselves.

‘Marin Supervisors Allocate Resources to Support Immigrant Communities‘

That’s the headline from a press release from the county. It goes on to say that “with immigrant rights at the forefront of conversations nationwide” the county will spend half a million bucks of taxpayer money “toward safeguarding immigrant communities.”

I’m not sure what “immigrant rights” means, exactly. But I’m sure the county isn’t spending a dime on people who migrated to Marin County legally. They are spending this money only on the “rights” of immigrants who have snuck into Marin illegally.They characterize their “spending” as a compassionate investment. 

Look, I have no problem with Marin County spinning this to make it look more palatable. But it’s still bullshit. The closer you get to what’s going on, the stronger it stinks.
