August 25, 2020 by Marin Leave a Comment

A San Quentin former  inmate, who was released after serving his full term, was found dead at the Inn Marin on Aug. 9.

Gary Michael Madeux, 56, had contracted COVID-19 in prison, was released and was in quarantine at the hotel. Authorities said they did not know why Madeux was quarantined in Marin instead of his home county of Sonoma. The cause of death has not been determined, but the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said there were no suspicious signs at the scene of his death.
