Big band music will ring out in Sausalito this Friday as the Jazz and Blues by the Bay event gets underway.
This Friday (Sept. 3) Gabrielson Park in Sausalito will swing to big band music from Mary Lou’s Apartment. The show on Friday next (Sept. 10) will feature the New Orleans sounds of Mitch Woods and His Rocket 88s.
As always, shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and continue until 8 p.m. Food and beverages will be on sale to benefit local non-profit organizations. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and drink.
September tables at a price that covers both shows are available at $60 for Sausalito residents and $70 for non-residents. A separate group of nightly tables are available for single shows, also at $60 and $70. Please use the Sausalito Parks and Recreation Department’s online reservation system to book a table. More details and instructions on using the reservation system may be found on the Jazz and Blues by the Bay website.
Event staffing at Jazz and Blues by the Bay is provided in collaboration with Phoenix Project Marin, a non-profit organization that helps at-risk Marin City residents develop personal, social, and economic skills.
