Using the California Public Records Act, the Independent Journal dug out the severance package for departing Novato Unified School District Superintendent Kris Cosca.
Cosca’s surprise resignation with two years left on his contract took effect today (June 30). He negotiated a total payout for himself of about $135,000, plus health coverage for a year. He will also get a letter of recommendation from the district.
