Lee Gerner homeless camp growing by the day

Lee Gerner Park in Novato has become a permanent homeless camp during the COVID-19 pandemic, drawing criticism from some Novato residents who say the population there does not practice virus health rules and has become a public health and safety hazard to the community. Others, however, support the gathering in this hard time and bring the people gathered there food and comfort. The homeless population has grown substantially during the pandemic. The pictures above were shot last week.
