Letter to the Editor: Job well done

November 8, 2020 by Marin Leave a Comment

Dear editor,

My Thoughts on the 2020 Election. For the last 4 days, I have been working for the Marin County Elections Department as a Chief Inspector and was in charge of the Novato Library voting center.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to many people.

First to the entire staff of the Novato Library for opening their doors and making their facility available to us and the community.

Next, to every single person who stopped by to vote either in person or to drop off their Vote By Mail ballot.

The Novato Library voting center had more ballots processed through it than any other location in Marin County.

Every single voter was kind, courteous and respectful. It was a pleasure to serve them during this event.

Lastly, to my fellow precinct officers.

This was the most demanding election requiring commitment, dedication and hard work.

You were amazing.

This was my 20th year as an election official and I have never been so proud to be a part of the electoral process.

Brian Woodson
