Letters: Global danger

March 1, 2021 by Marin Leave a Comment

Dear editor,

Remember those fires last summer and fall?  Remember the smoke for weeks end, and the ash from the Woodward Fire in West Marin?  Does anyone want more and more of that every year?  If so, please write to the Novato City Council and tell them great, let’s welcome Costco’s 28 gas pumps to Novato.

On the other hand, if you care about the dangers of global climate change, which even Costco claims to do (just Google “Costco Climate Action Plan”), and would rather Costco spend its money installing solar panels and inexpensive or even free charging stations in its parking lot, then please tell your Council member to say NO THANK YOU COSTCO.  And while you’re at it, take a real stand if you are a Costco member – cut up your cards, write a letter explaining why, and mail them to:
