Dear editor,
Will the enclosed camp at Lee Gerner Park be called “Newsomville?” Will it have its own zip code and daily mail delivery? Will the 6-foot wooden fence surrounding the camp be painted or will it be vandalized with homeless signs and “art”? Will the enclosure have a swimming pool?
It’s fine to help someone in need, but the city should concentrate on a more rural area in Novato for this homeless enclosure. How soon can tax paying citizens of Novato be able to resume normal use at Lee Gerner Park.
