Francis James McGovern

Francis James McGovern of Novato was born May 4, 1934 in St. Helens, England and died August 10, 2022.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Gretta Dinsdale McGovern, and his daughter Julie McGovern.
He is survived by his three children, Kerry Pere’ (Joe), Carolyn Colgate and Chris McGovern, and his grandchildren, David, Shannon and Michael Pere, Duncan Colgate, Heather Zdanovich, Sean Leddy, Bridget Joy, and Michael Leddy.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Francis on Sunday, August 14th, at l:00 p.m. at his son’s home in Petaluma. Obituary and more info at www.valleymemorialpark.com.
