Marin 911: ‘Disturbing graffiti’ in men’s public restroom

May 29, 2024 by Marin 2 Comments

SAUSALITO

No Parking: On May 16, Sausalito’s finest ticketed cars along Marion Avenue from Edwards Avenue and Hi Vista. Cars were parked in “No Parking” areas and prevented emergency vehicles from getting through.

Haircut: A man smoking pot and holding a bottle of liquor entered a barbershop and asked for a haircut. The man had no hair. Police called, but the bald dope-smoking drunk fled the scene.

Screamer: On May 17, a 40-ish woman sat on the steps of an apartment building on Pine Street and Caledonia Street screaming her head off. (Not literally, of course.) Passers by reported to police that she was either loaded or having a mental health episode. Maybe both. Gone when police arrived.

Shocker: A citizen reported “disturbing graffiti” inside the men’s public restroom on Bridgeway. Details not provided on the cop log, but we can only imagine.

Blackout: Something you are forbidden from knowing about happened in Sausalito. Item completely blacked out on the cop log. Probably nothing you need to know.

Crash: A dog walker saw a car careen off the road on San Carlos Avenue on May 19. The car hit a tree. Then left the scene. Service provided.

Setting Up Camp: A vagabond started setting up an overnight camp on Princess Street. Police responded and told him to vamoose. He did.

MILL VALLEY POLICE

Not Cool: On May 16, two dudes in a crappy looking red Dodge Challenger were reported doing “burnouts” and “donuts” at 2 a.m. on Throckmorton. They also pointed a silver pistol at bystanders as they drove away.

Welfare Check: The son of a man who lives in Mill Valley received an Apple notification that his father had taken a hard fall. Welfare check provided.

Purse Theft: A woman sat down in a cafe and put her purse on the back of the chair. When she returned, it was gone. Video available. Service provided.

Dog Issue: A dispute became physical when a woman tried to pick up her dog from the vet without paying. Service provided.
