Editor’s Note: Yes, there are public safety issues in bucolic Marin County. These are just a few of the latest gleaned from cop logs by the journalists at Marin Local News.

SAUSALITO
Pajama Man: A man known to frequent downtown Sausalito and do weird things was reported standing on Coloma and Tomales Street in his pajamas, wearing a medical mask over his eyes, smoking dope, and flipping people off as they walked or drove by. Cars had to drive him. Sausalito’s finest did a welfare check on Mr. P.J. (for the umpteenth time) and moved him along.
Bows & Arrows: Attention people who live on Reade Lane. A resident there called Sausalito’s finest to ask if he could shoot arrows in his front yard. Police unable to initially connect with the questioner. But they no doubt will.
Homeless Stuff: A homeless man dropped his worldly belongings – including two bikes – in front of a driveway on Bridgeway. He left on foot. Service provided.
Beer Thrower: A bike rider on March 4 reported a jerk in a black Jeep threw a “malt liquor” bottle at him as he rode on Bridgeway. The day before the same guy did the same thing. Service provided.
Dogs Off Leash: A frustrated citizen called police to report that seven – count ‘em, 7 – were off lease at 1600 Bridgeway. She said she’s not going through this “dog and pony show” anymore and police need to do something to enforce leash laws. She said she’s going to call everytime she sees a dog running free. Officers were dispatched. All dogs were on leash, sensing the heat was on.

MARIN COUNTY SHERIFF
Dirt Dishing: A woman told deputies that another woman was writing stink about her on a social media site and threatening to “show up” at her daughter’s swim practice. It began over a road range incident. Advice given.
Upset Neighbor: A woman on Sycamore Avenue in Mill Valley reported that her neighbor appeared to have some kind of mental episode. Deputies checked the house, but no answer. Will keep an eye on things. Service provided.
Danger to Self: Deputies responded to a report of a person becoming a danger to self on March 11 on Miwok Way. Service provided.
Danger to Self: Deputies responded to a person in danger of harming himself on Bon Air Road in Kentfield. The man was “placed on hold for being gravely disabled.”
Homeless Encampment: An illegal camping site in Miller Creek underneath the Locas Valley HOA bridge was reported to deputies. Service provided.
Par-Tay: A woman was planning a big party on Diablo Drive in Kentfield with music and valet parking. Sought advice on noise ordinances, etc. Service provided.
Rape: A cold report of a rape in Marinwood was taken on March 12. Service provided.Homeless: A man looking tattered and worn hung out in front of the school on San Pedro Road in Santa Venetia. Looked like he was going to set up camp. Service provided.
