Marin 911: Erratic homeless behavior keeps cops busy; more mail tampering reported

SAUSALITO

Vandalism: A car parked on Bridgeway had its windshield smashed overnight. Report taken.

Potty Mouth: A homeless person walked on Cypress Place every morning and every evening yelling profanities and racial slurs in front of kids. He’s dressed in black. Service provided.

Agitated: A homeless man in a blue jumpsuit was yelling profanities and throwing things at a wall on Bridgeway. Police moved the man along.

Mail Tampering: Signs of forced entry were reported at the gang mailbox on Eden Roc Drive. 

Takes Two: Two owners of dogs became entangled in an argument over whose dog was more sexually aggressive with the other’s dog. Settled with police intervention. 

Sleeper: A homeless man on Jan. 12 slept on the doorstep of a business on Bridgeway. Moved along. 

Bathroom Hog: A homeless person got into the public restroom on Olima Street and locked the door. Police coaxed him out and moved him along. 

MARIN COUNTY SHERIFF

Binford: Illegally parked cars with people living in them along Binford Road placed cones on the road to divert traffic. Deputies found the move unsafe and told the people to stop it.

Dog Barking: Deputies responded to a noise report involving a dog barking on Montezuma Avenue in Forest Knolls. Deputies spoke to the dog’s owner, who said he’d keep an ear out. But the dog was not barking when officers arrived. 

Knife: A man displaying a knife in a threatening way was reported in Kentfield at the College of Marin. The man was gone when deputies arrived on scene.

Pants Down: Deputies responded to reports of a man behaving “weirdly.” He had his pants down around his ankles and bending over a bicycle. Service provided.

Off Leash: A man walking two dogs let them off leash on purpose to attack other dogs, according to a hiker in Woodacre. Deputies responded. Service provided. 

Abandoned Car: A car with a blue tarp across the back window appeared abandoned in Novato. No plates. Car will be tagged. 

Biden Moment: An elderly woman called the Sheriff’s Department saying she’s taking care of two small children and doesn’t know where the parents are. Welfare check was performed and the woman was determined to be “confused.”

    Love your column, resent your last statement “Biden moment”. Granted, some think this funny, and it’s catching on. How many votes will he lose because of this slur? You, indirectly, just endorsed Trump.
