Gym Fights: Deputies put on extra patrol in Marin City following an unusual number of fights in the campus gym. After one particular fight, a man said he would return with a weapon. Deputies kept an eye on things through the weekend.
Woman & Baby: A concerned citizen saw a woman with a baby at a bus stop in Alto who looked like she may need some help. Deputies fielded the call and did a welfare check. Woman and baby are fine.
Noisy Neighbor: A resident in Santa Venetia called deputies about a neighbor using loud power tools. Deputies spoke to the noisy neighbor and told him to keep it down.
Fights: Deputies responded to reports of a bunch of kids on E-Bikes banging on doors in Kentfield. Service provided.
Puking Kid: An out-of-control party was reported on Jan. 26 in Almonte. One party goer was seen puking in the street. Deputies responded and cleared what appeared to be mostly kids out of the roadway.
Gang: In Strawberry on Jan. 26, about 20 high school kids pushed around an employee of the store and refused, when asked, to leave. Deputies restored order and kept an eye on things. They also monitored the store throughout the night.
Scary Winds: A Greenbrae resident thought he heard a prowler skulking about. Deputies responded, searched the area and came up empty. Suspicious noises chalked up to the wind.
Bad Driving: A garbage truck tore down power lines in Stinson Beach on Jan. 31. Truck drove away.
