
COUNTY SHERIFF
Porch Pirates: A citizen called deputies to Rincon Way in Santa Venetia after he saw a man and a woman in a car filled with Amazon boxes. Service provided.
Carnival Break In: Someone broke into the carnival in San Rafael and shattered the windows of two food stands, tore up two ticket machines, exhausted the fire extinguishers, ripped up a bunch of stuffed animals and vandalized a food truck. Service provided.
Frozen: A homeless man entered the public library in Marin City and sat behind the counter where only staff are allowed. He refused to leave, saying he was “frozen.” Police arrived and thawed him out and escorted him on his way.
Death Threats: A book found at school in Marin City contained student’s names and death threats. Turned over to deputies.
Vehicle Habitation: An RV has been parked on Tennessee Valley Road in Tam Valley for about two weeks. Occupant has set up a BB gun target range and has strewn trash all about. Deputies talked to the vehicle dweller and advised him of parking rules. He said he moves the RV every day.
Multiple Warrants: A pedestrian on the Marin Avenue bridge in Tam Valley was arrested March 20 on multiple warrants out of San Mateo. Free ride to jail. Service provided.
Dumpsters: Two dumpsters showed up on church property on Tiburon Boulevard. The company that owns them is out of business. Deputies helping remove.

MILL VALLEY
Laws Are Laws: A citizen told police they need to do a better job enforcing laws. She said she can’t get her mail because sketchy characters are always hanging around. One person, she said, was carrying an anti-police sign and begging for money, another she said was smoking a “bong.”
Vandalism: On March 25, someone smashed the back window of a car parked on Eldridge Avenue.
Bike Thief: A red mountain bike valued at $345 was taken from a resident on Camino Alto Court on March 26. Service provided.
Leaf Blower: A man on Throckmorton Avenue was caught using a gas-powered leaf blower, which is a crime in Mill Valley. The man told police he only used the gas-powered leaf blower to handle a job that couldn’t be handled with an electric blower. Police advised him of the law.
Son Pushes Dad: Police were called to a residence in which a 16-year-old boy pushed his dad into a door after the dad raised his voice. No charges filed. Service provided.
Improper Trash Disposal: An office on Miller Avenue reported a woman who lives on Greenwood Way keeps dumping his trash into the office dumpster. Police called her and told her to stop it. Service provided.
Old Driver: An elderly driver smacked into the back of another car and drove away as if nothing happened. Service provided.
25 Bottles: A woman reportedly stole 25 bottles of booze from a story on Blithedale. Video footage available. Service provided.

SAUSALITO
Sleeper: A homeless person slept in a construction zone on El Portal Street. Moved along.
Unhoused: Two unhoused people attempted to set up tents in the yard of a citizen. Advice given.
Purse Found: A woman’s purse was found in the bushes on Harbor Drive. Nothing inside the purse. Service provided.
Dog Runs Free: A big ol’ Husky dog ran free in the dog park on Olima Street on March 31. Described as aggressive. Children present. Dog nipped an adult. Service provided.
Strange Man: A strange man was reported riding his bike in a driveway on Filbert Avenue and chanting “somebody do something, she is going to kill her baby.” Police alerted. Service provided.
Loud Yelling: A neighbor became alarmed when she heard an argument between a man and woman. The man told the woman to “lay down” and the woman weeped. Police responded and talked to the couple. Verbal only. Denied resources. Service provided.
