Public Urinator: A “all points” person (police code for “homeless”) was heard yelling at people on Bridgeway and urinating in public. Police are familiar with this individual and are keeping an eye on the situation should it esculate.
Screamer: A homeless man was reported by a citizen to have been screaming his head off since 3 a.m. on Bridgeway and Locust. Police talked to the screamer and he agreed to move along and quiet down.
Weird: A homeless man stuffed clothing in such a way to make it look like a man was lifeless on the sidewalk. Police watched his behavior for a while and then told him to cut it out.
Two Fisted: An “all points man” was carrying two bottles of wine on Caledonia Street yelling his head off. Police were advised.
Tent Life: A homeless person came into the Marinship encampment without permission and slept in another person’s tent without permission. He had “an attitude” toward police. Police mitigated as best they could.
Took Stuff: A woman in a black beanie and gray sweats took vitamins and food from a store, threw a drink at the boss of the store and then fled to the homeless encampment in Marinship Park. Police apprehended the woman and booked her into jail.
Irate Customer: A man who was miffed because he could not withdraw money from a bank had to be escorted kicking and screaming from the bank.
Tent Life: A woman in the homeless tent encampment in Marinship Park reported that a man for whom she has a restraining order was within 75 feet of her, which is not allowed. Police sorting through it all.
Saggy Pants: A man described as wearing a white jacket and saggy pants was reported yelling at construction workers. Police responded and determined no crime had been committed, though wearing your pants saggy like that is considered a crime by some.
Tent Life: Someone on April 7 reported that several people were screaming at each other in the town’s homeless encampment at Marinship Park.
Hello: A woman walked into a house on Alexander Avenue. Resident did not know who she was and it’s happened about 8 times before. Police helping sort it out.
Accident: The driver of a white Lexus sedan and a man on a bicycle got in an accident. A verbal argument ensued. Bike rider said his knee was hurt, but refused hospital transport. Police helping sort it out.
Parking Beef: Two men got in an argument over a parking spot. One man was “holding” the spot. The other guy, in a truck, was there and wanted to pull in. Police helped sort it out.
Sheriff’s Department
Found Dead: Jennifer M. ARANSON, above, was the subject of a search as a missing person earlier last week. Later, she was found by members of the Marin County Search and Rescue Team conducting an area search. She was found inside her parked vehicle within the 200 block of S. Ridgewood Road in Kentfield, CA. The Sheriff’s office said she was discovered without any traumatic injuries or suspicious circumstances suggestive of having met with foul play or been in a vehicle collision. Indicia located at the scene is suggestive of the subject possibly misusing nitrous oxide inhalants. She was reported missing from her Mill Valley home since April 10. Authorities thought she might possibly be on a Mt. Tam trail somewhere between W. Blithedale in Mill Valley and Madrone Avenue Larkspur.
Bodies ID’d: On Sunday April 10, at approximately 11:23 a.m. a Marin County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy on routine patrol located a parked vehicle in a secluded and normally not traveled area within Caltrans property in Marinwood on St. Vincent Drive. The Deputy checked the vehicle and the welfare of the occupants seen inside. He located two-persons obviously deceased people. At the time of this writing these cases remain under active investigation and information gathering is still being acquired. Sheriff’s Deputies and the Coroner Investigator on the scene did not note any overt signs of traumatic injuries and / or suspicious circumstances on the subject’s during the scene investigation suggestive of foul play or a vehicle collision having taken place. There is no threat to the community. The dead were identified as Harry Manus MARCELLUS, 49, previously from Cotati but with no current address and Helethia AnnaMarie ROTH, 26, also previously from Cotati and with no current address.

Recap: During this one-week time period, we had 569 calls for service. This included 1 call related to hit and run accidents, 1 minor injury accident, 0 major injury accidents and 9 property damage only accidents. There was 1 residential burglary, 1 commercial burglary and 1 auto burglary. There were 2 calls related to DUI and 0 DUI arrests.
Stolen Car: A resident reported she was unable to locate her vehicle last seen parked at her home on Corte Real in Greenbrae. An Officer took a stolen vehicle report.
Druggie: Pursuant to a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in San Anselmo, a San Anselmo resident was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, violation of probation and driving without a license. He was cited and released.
Druggies: An Officer advised he was out with subjects on Madera Boulevard in Corte Madera. A San Francisco resident was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Another San Francisco resident was arrested for narcotics possession for sale, possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics, possession of Xanax without prescription and two warrants totaling $10,000 held by the San Francisco Sheriff Office. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Theft: A resident on Larkspur Plaza Drive in Larkspur reported the theft of catalytic converter from his vehicle. An Officer took a report.
Druggie: An Officer advised he was out with a subject on Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur. A Fairfax resident was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. He was cited and released.
Druggie: A caller reported a suspicious subject on Via Casitas in Greenbrae. A Fremont resident was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Theft: A caller reported the theft of his locked bicycle while parked on Doherty Drive in Larkspur. An Officer took a report.
Smash-n-Grab: A resident on Tamal Vista Boulevard in Corte Madera reported returning to his vehicle to find a window smashed and items missing. An Officer took an auto burglary report.
Public Drunk: A caller reported an unwanted subject on Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur. A Rodeo resident was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Druggie: Pursuant to a traffic stop on East Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Larkspur, a Richmond resident was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a $500 warrant held by San Mateo County Sheriff Office. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Theft: A caller reported the theft of his locked bicycle while parked on Doherty Drive in Larkspur. An Officer took a report.
Stolen Car: A resident reported she was unable to locate her vehicle last seen parked at her home on South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. An Officer took a stolen vehicle report.
Theft: A resident on Cross Creek Place in Larkspur reported the catalytic converter had been taken from his vehicle. An Officer took a report.
