Indecent Exposure: On Jan. 19, at 8:09 a.m., a Novato Police Department School Resource Officer responded to Hamilton School on the report of an indecent exposure incident reported to have occurred off campus. A 12-year-old student reported that while walking to school on Marin Valley Drive, they observed a male seated in his vehicle masturbating. The student said as they walked past the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle rolled down the window to expose himself to the student. When the student arrived at school, they immediately reported the activity to school staff, who contacted the School Resource Officer to initiate an investigation. The initial investigation revealed that a similar incident occurred on Jan. 12 involving a suspect matching the same description in the same location. Novato Police Department Investigators and the Novato Response Team responded to assist with surveillance of the area for several hours to locate the suspect. Later that evening, officers in the area observed the involved vehicle on Marin Valley Drive and contacted the driver, 28-year-old Sebastian Armani Marconni-Dawes of Novato. Marconni-Dawes was placed under arrest for 314 PC-Indecent Exposure and 647.6 (A)(1) PC-Annoying a Child Under 18. He was transported and booked at Marin County Jail.
