MARIN SHERIFF

Abandoned Car: A Greenbrae resident woke up to find a car in his driveway on Jan. 25. Windows were down and it appeared as if someone had rifled through the inside. Deputies towed the mystery car.

Couch Dumped: Some lazy, bad person dumped a couch on Woodland Avenue in San Rafael. Deputies scheduled it to be properly disposed of.

Drone Noise: A citizen reported that his neighbor in Santa Venetia was flying his drone and it is super noisy. A deputy went to the area and parked for several minutes. No noise detected from a drone or anything else.

Fight/No Fight: A citizen reported a man and a woman in a roaring physical fight in an apartment in Almonte. A fellow apartment dweller said he heard the woman yell “call 911.” So they did. When deputies arrived, the two “fighters” said no such fight (or yelling occurred). Deputies examined the apartment and found it to be in good order. No merit to the call, it was determined.

Locked Out: A tenant was locked out of his home in Novato by the landlord. He wants his stuff inside and called the police to help. Service provided.

Abandoned: A black sports car has been parked on Bel Marin Keys Boulevard for a week. A citizen tried to report it online but couldn’t figure out how to do it. So, he called. An officer came out to tag the car.

Prius Driver: An alert driver noticed a elderly person driving a white Prius, driving erratically and weaving in and out of traffic like Mr. Magoo. The Prius driver finally parked in Strawberry and the caller told police this may be a welfare check instead of a DUI.

MILL VALLEY

Long Park: Citizens reported to police that a Toyota Tundra has been parked on Hazel Avenue for 3 months.
