Opps: A woman told police that she heard a domestic dispute brewing at a local business. She could hear a man’s “very intense” tone and a woman mumbling in submission. Police arrived to find a man in the business — alone — talking to a customer on the phone. Ouch. She didn’t hear what she thought she heard.
Whippersnappers: Two kids asked a man to buy them cigarettes. The man said “no” and the Fairfax kids “had some negative words” for him.
Rock For Sale: A caller reported a man under the bridge at Creek Road and Dominga Avenue talking to himself. Caller said the man was homeless and tried to sell him a rock. Advice given.
Noise Complaint: Occurred at Fairfax Lumber And Hardware on Broadway. Caller is reporting a large delivery truck making too much noise. Service Provided.
Abandoned Vehicle: Occurred on Manor Road. Caller reports a Black SUV parked over a month without moving. Vehicle Booted/Towed.
Noise Complaint: Occurred at Deer Park School on Porteous Av. A man in a vehicle playing loud music. Vehicle is a beige SUV Subject described as heavy set, wearing a baseball cap. Service Provided.
Unwanted Person: Occurred at Deer Park School on Porteous Avenue. A man was reported to be “acting oddly” and making teachers uncomfortable. He kept asking about the kids at the school. Advice given.
Danger to Self: A caller on Bolinas Road told disatchers she felt like she might need to go to the crisis unit. Service Provided.
Backwards Ballcap: A caller on Willow Avenue reported hearing something in the backyard that sounded like scurrying and thudding. Her husband went to the bathroom window and saw someone running through the backyard. He yelled and they vaulted over the side gate. Two people, younger, possibly teens or 20s. One subject had longer hair with a baseball cap on backwards, The second may have had his shoes in his hand. Gone on arrival.
Loud Piano: Occurred at Fairfax Park on Bolinas Rd/Elsie. Caller reported loud piano playing and singing. She does not think it’s the piano on Broadway. She thinks it might be on Bolinas or in the park from the sounds of it. Gone on arrival.
Biker Sorehead: Occurred at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Pacheco Avenue. Caller said a bicyclist who was upset about a turn she made in her vehicle came up to her driver’s window and hit the mirror and verbally accosted her. The pissed biker fled the scene.
Yeller: A woman at a store on Broadway harassed employees, yelling and being belligerent. She was described as 5’6 with long gray hair and a “flowy” purple top.
Homeless: A homeless couple camped on Marinda Drive on the property above a residence. Police were called, but the couple broke camp and left.
Bad Neighbor: Occurred on Manzanita Road. Caller reported the neighbor is harassing her on a daily basis regarding the work being done on her property. She does not need a permit for the kind of work she is having done, but the neighbor continues to request a permit from her. The caller said she will be obtaining a restraining order and wanted her call logged, which it was.
Bad Neighbor: Occurred on Scenic Road. Caller has an ongoing issue with a neighbor calling in his vehicle as abandoned.
Sausalito
July 19 – 20, 2021
Boat Towed: The owner of a sailboat anchored out of Sausalito was towed on July 19 by the harbormaster. Owner called police saying the harbormaster stole the boat and damaged it in the process. Logged as a civil matter.
Unwanted: A group of transients refused to move off of property on Bridgeway. Police were called and sorted it out. The homeless individuals were cited.
Encampment Fight: A man and woman were yelling and fighting in the fenced encampment at Marinship Park. Police responded and sorted it out.
Central Marin

Summary: During this one-week time period, we had 557 calls for service. This included 3 calls related to hit and run accidents, 1 minor injury accident, 0 major injury accidents and 4 property damage only accidents. There was 1 residential burglary, 1 commercial burglary and 2 auto burglaries. There was 1 call related to DUI and 1 DUI arrest.
Wife Beater: A caller reported a dispute on Saunders Avenue in San Anselmo. A San Anselmo resident was arrested for domestic battery. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Loaded Gun: A caller reported a subject possibly sleeping on San Anselmo Avenue in San Anselmo. A San Anselmo resident was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and carrying a loaded firearm in public. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Theft: Employee at a business at Corte Madera Town Center in Corte Madera reported a subject detained for theft. A man, with no permanent address, was arrested for grand theft, possession of controlled substance, possession of narcotic controlled substance, possession of Xanax without prescription and conspiracy. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Grand Theft: A resident on Mariner Green Drive in Corte Madera reported the catalytic converter taken from her vehicle. An Officer took a grand theft report.
Vandalism: Several callers reported witnessing a vandalism on South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. A juvenile San Francisco resident was arrested for vandalism, false identification to Peace Officer, defacing with paint and possession of concentrate cannabis. He was transported and booked into Marin County Juvenile Hall.
DUI: A caller reported a vehicle accident on Red Hill Avenue in San Anselmo. A San Anselmo resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Drunk: A caller reported a possible intoxicated subject on South Eliseo Drive in Greenbrae. A San Rafael resident was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Drunk: An Officer advised he was out with a subject on Lucky Drive in Corte Madera. A Larkspur resident was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported and booked into Marin County Jail.
Theft: A resident on Via Hidalgo in Greenbrae reported a theft from her vehicle. An Officer took an auto burglary report.
