Marin 911: Smell of pot wafts through Sausalito

Sausalito

Jan. 21 – 27, 2021

Smell of Pot: The aroma of mariuna wafted bout on Litho Street. Police were asked to check it out, which they did. A person in the thick of it was told to stop it or face a possible citation. 

Dunphy Park: A citizen called police to ask them how they are handling the growing homeless encampment there. 

Dunphy Park II: Same question. 

Dunphy Park III: Same question. 

Dunphy Park IV: Same question. 

Locks Cut: A man was seen cutting the locks of storage units on Eden Roc Drive. Extra patrols initiated.

Wild Dog: A woman walking her dog was attacked by an off-leash dog on Anchor Street. She was knocked off her feet, but not bitten. 

Impounded Boat: A person caused a disturbance at the boatyard on Bridgeway. It was over his boat being impounded. Police give the yeller the proper point of contact to talk about his boat. 

Too Drunk: A man in a grey and orange beanie cap riding a bicycle was so soused that a citizen called the cops. “He is in no condition to be on a bicycle,” the caller said. As drunk as he may have been, police, however, were unable to find the drunken rider. 

Burglary: An attempted break in to the parking lot and garage on Bulkley Avenue was reported. Forced entry was made using a crowbar. Security tape is available. 

Fairfax

Jan. 15 – 24, 2020

Mask-less: A covey of maskless people was spied in the Mono Lot. They were also not social distancing. Police rolled to the crime scene and provided law enforcement service. 

Belligerent Man: A man described as “belligerent”  yelled at employees of a coffee joint on Center Boulevard. 

Noise Complaint: The complaint occurr at Dance Theatre Seven on Bolinas Road. A caller reported loud music coming from behind the business. Asked the police to do a decibel reading.  

Belligerent Woman: A woman in a grocery store on Center Boulevard called employees bad names. Police rolled, but the name-caller was gone when they arrived. 

Dangerous Garbage: A caller told police that some Fairfaxian scofflaw dumped an old refrigerator at Park Road and Merwin Avenue. Caller worried kids might play in it and become trapped. 

Bike Stolen: A bicycle was reported stolen from the Creekside Apartments. Report taken.
