Can’t Unsee It: An “all point female” (that means “homeless woman”) stepped out of a green SUV on Ebbtide Avenue. The tide of the 50-ish woman’s pants was in a severe ebb, if you know what we mean. Kids were present and a witness reported that her “butt was visible.” Police talked to her. She had been sleeping in the SUV.
Bike Fight: A bicyclist described as “Italian” became involved in a bike rage incident on Caledonia Street. He beat on a car and then engaged another bicyclist in a confrontation. Tha’ts-a-it. No more info.
Beggar: A restaurant owner complained to police that a skinny homeless man staked out a spot at the entrance and harassed customers for money. Gone when police arrived.
Beggar II: A skinny homeless man stood in front of a bagel shop begging. A citizen thought he saw a pistol in his waistband, which got the immediate attention of police. They stopped him. No gun was found. The man was given some money for food and a ride to Marin City Health Center for some much-needed services.
Screamer: A homeless man stood on Bridgeway and screamed at anyone who walked by. He then walked toward the park. Police checked him out. He was not screaming when they talked to him. No crime determined.
Cat Calls: A guy on Litho Street yelled “cat calls” at women walking by. Finally someone had enough and called the cops. It stopped.
Open Fire: A homeless encampment on Bridgeway had a full-on open fire going. Police stopped by and Smokey Beared the group.
My Birthday: A loud party on Caledonia Street was reported to police. A man was heard to yell “It’s my f-ing birthday. A woman walking by announced that “she has mushrooms’ ‘ and was invited to join the party. The music then went up so loud witnesses said the walls were shaking. Police responded and told the birthday boy to hold it down.
Mill Valley
Oct. 8 – 14, 2020
Catalytic converter: One was stolen from a vehicle belonging to the school district.
Bag O Makeup: A worker at the city’s corp yard brought in a tote bag found at Boyle Park that contained clothing and makeup. Turned over to police.
Loud Music: A citizen called in a noise complaint on a guy playing an amplified accordion on Camino alto. Police told him to turn it down.
NextDoor Threat: A Mill Valley person threatened another Mill Valley person on the social media site NextDoor. Police talked to both parties.
Push Comes to Shove: A man said he was pushed by another man in a restaurant. Victim said he wanted to press charges, but no one saw the alleged push.
Don’t Do That: Kids were seen jumping off the roof of a gym unit on Miller Avenue. Police snagged the kids and told them not to do that and to go home.
Mail Boxes: A gang mail box on Presidio Avenue was broken into and mail strewn all about.
Air B&B: A complaint came in on an Air B&B residence on Cascade Drive. Huge party last night with fights and looks like another blasting party is coming up. Police are keeping an eye on the situation.
Bike Stolen: A bike was stolen from a bike rack on Presidio Avenue.
BMW Racist: A woman saw a man in a BMW scream a racial slur at another man. She took a picture of the racist and the racist then squared up on her. The woman reported the incident to police.
Thrower: A woman threw things at customers in a store. Turns out she was wanted out of Santa Barbara. Police handling.
