Marin mass transit: Masks no longer required

April 21, 2022 by Marin Leave a Comment

Masks are no longer required on Marin’s mass transit, thanks to a federal court ruling that overturned the Joe Biden Administration’s nationwide mandate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the ruling was announced, passengers cheered and took their masks off in transit. But the Biden Administration has appealed the judge’s ruling.

For now, the ruling stands and in Marin the county’s major transit providers no longer require masks on buses, trains and ferries.

Masks may still be worn, but they are no longer required.
