Marin Sheriff: Have a safe Halloween

October 31, 2023 by Marin Leave a Comment

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone to stay safe and have a great time this Halloween. Here are a few tips to ensure that you and everyone you’re with are safe this year

-Always look both directions before crossing the street.

-Dark colored costumes are hard to see, so be careful when walking, riding bikes or driving.

-Masks may limit visibility, so be extra careful if wearing one.

-Don’t take shortcuts through alleys, parks or dark streets.

-Adults should carry flashlights and keep a close eye on their children and those they are taking Trick or Treating.

-Don’t eat candy that appears to have been tampered with or is unwrapped.

Remember, even though its a holiday Night of Fright, be safe and have fun!
