Mary Sackett avoided a runoff for the District 1 Marin County Supervisor race when last week Gina Daly conceded the race, saying Sackett would get form that 50% of the votes in the Primary race.
This brings two new faces to the county board. Novato Mayor Eric Lucan cruised to victory in the primary to represent District 5.
Votes are still being counted in the Primary race. Turnout was very low, now standing below 40% of registered voters.
