Meet Justin Conner, Novato’s new deputy fire Marshall

From the Novato Fire Protection District:

Please join us in congratulating Justin Conner on his recent promotion to Deputy Fire Marshal.

Captain Conner began his career in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Paradise, California, right out of high school. He then worked for the Cal Fire Tehama Glen unit 2 for two fire seasons, and was hired full time with the City of Eureka Fire/Humboldt Bay Fire as a Firefighter/EMT. He later worked for Petaluma Fire for 3.5 years before he joined the ranks as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Novato Fire District in 2018.

Captain Conner made the leap over to prevention in 2022 as Fire Inspector where he’s been serving ever since. His new role will include plan reviews for construction projects and fire alarm systems, conducting fire investigations, and ensure compliance with fire codes.
