The Marin County Deputy Sheriff’s Association (DSA) has announced its first ever “No Shave November” fundraising event.
While the event has been around for 20 years, starting in Australia, this is the first year in Marin. It focuses on men’s health, specifically prostate cancer awareness, testicular cancer awareness and suicide prevention.
Each person who chooses to grow facial hair will be donating money to help raise awareness and funding to these causes.
We know Marin County Sheriff deputies with a beard may be a little different, but we promise, it will grow on you.
