Novato green lights new housing development by Sonoma-based company

January 16, 2024 by Marin 1 Comment

The Novato City Council approved a 130-home development north of San Marin Drive at its last meeting on Jan. 9.

The Valley Oaks North project is proposed by Campus Property Group LLC, a Sonoma County developer. The project will go on a 38-acre site. The project as approved will include 61 single-family residences — 49 with junior accessory dwelling units — and 20 townhomes. Eight residences will be reserved for low-income people.

Construction, the developer told the Council, will begin this year.
