A view of Drakes Estero from a kayak in 2021. Drake’s Estero is a 2,500 acre complex in Point Reyes National Seashore. It is part of the Phillip Burton Wilderness, the only West Coast marine wilderness south of Alaska. It protects thousands of species of birds, mammals, fish and other wildlife.
