Police Review Board Meeting — first since vice chair Jeremy Portje arrested

Jeremy Portje, above, is the vice chairman of the Novato Police Advisory and Review Board.

The Novato Police Advisory and Review Board will meet for the first time since its vice chairman, Jeremy Portje, was arrested in Sausalito for resisting arrest in a dust-up that injured a police officer. 

The District Attorney elected not to prosecute Portje. 

The board meeting is a teleconference only beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3. Portje’s arrest is not on the agenda.

The Police Advisory & Review Board welcomes anyone to attend its meetings. People may participate and provide comments to the Police Advisory & Review Board as follows:

– Written public comments may be submitted by email to hr@novato.org. Written public comments, however, will not be read during the meeting.

    You should be ashamed for the way you present information it’s one-sided did you know for a fact the police officer that roughed up Mr. Portje has nearly a dozen complaints filed against him for brutalizing citizens.
