For the second year in a row the football teams of San Marin High School and Marin Catholic won their respective division titles and head into the state tournament where they both hope to repeat as state champions.
San Marin won the North Coast Section Division V title last week when the Mustangs beat Miramonte 42-28 at Rancho Cotate High in Rohnert Park. The Marin Catholid Wildcats smashed Cardinal Newman 48-22.
This week San Marin will host Menlo at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the 4-A title game. The Wildcats travel to Danville for a 6 p.m. matchup with San Ramon.
