The public schools in San Rafael plan to spend at least $50,000 in an advertising blitz to get students to return to public school. The school board contracted with San Diego-based Target River Marketing to do a campaign to return children who left the public schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the Oct. 12 board meeting, the CEO of Target River said their campaign will improve community pride in the school district.
