A pay dispute between San Rafael City Schools and the elementary teachers union failed to reach agreement during mediation and is now headed to the fact-finding process.
The last offer, made after mediation, calls for a 13% pay increase over two years — 10% for the current school year and 3% in 2023-24. Union officials labeled the offer “illegal” because it came after mediation concluded.
