Last weekend, ex-mayor of Sebastopol, Robert Jacob, was arrested on charges of sexually penetrating a teen-age child.
The Press Democrat first reported the news.
Jacob, 44, was arrested on Saturday, Sebastopol police Chief Keven Kilgore said.
Police said Jacob will be charged with other sexual crimes involving minors.
