Severely decomposed body found in livingroom

The Petaluma Police Department responded to a residence on Windsor Drive this week to find the body of a woman in the living room who had died in April, 2021. 

Neighbors reported packages stacking up at the front door and asked police to investigate. Upon entering the home, they found the body in an advanced state of decomposition. They also found a woman in a bedroom who said she was the dead woman’s daughter. 

The daughter was taken to a local hospital. The case remains under investigation. Identities were not divulged.
