Six ‘Women of Vision’ to be honored

Soroptimist International of Novato will hold its 41st Annual Spring Fundraiser, Women of Vision, on Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Bill and Adele Jonas Center, Indian Valley Campus, 1800 Ignacio Boulevard, in Novato.  

This year, SI Novato will celebrate its 50th Anniversary by honoring six remarkable “Women of Vision” who are extraordinary leaders and have made significant contributions to Marin County communities. 

Tickets for this fun and inspirational event are selling fast and can be purchased through SI Novato’s website, soropnovato.org/spring-fundraiser. Llunch will be provided by Debbie Ghiringhelli Catering, entertainment by Novato Comedian Gina Stahl-Haven,  fashions presented by Novato’s Alice Becker Inc., a silent auction, raffle, and door prizes.

Soroptimist International of Novato is an organization of women who use their collective power to provide women and girls with the resources and opportunities they need to reach their full potential and live their dreams. All proceeds from the Women of Vision Spring Fundraiser will go towards the many projects that benefit women and girls locally and globally, including grants for women trying to better themselves through education, scholarships, and awards for volunteer efforts. SI Novato also supports many non-profit organizations, including the Center for Domestic Peace, Gilead House, Homeward Bound, North Marin Community Services, and the Daraja Academy in Kenya.
