Police officers last week responded to a call about a fight at a San Anselmo home on Sunny Hills Drive. When they arrived, officers found a man barricaded in an upstairs bedroom with a child. The man, according to police reports, jumped from the bedroom window and ran across the street and into a dumpster.
Police chased the man and apprehended him. A few officers were reported injured in the chase.
Police arrested Laron Maurice Cook, 23, on suspicion of battery, child endangerment, resisting arrest and battery on officers.
