‘The Intersection of Race and Age in Marin’

The Marin County Commission on Aging is sponsoring a free community education forum entitled, “The Intersection of Race and Age in Marin” on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom teleconference. 

Guest speakers include:

  • Benita McLarin, FACHE, Director, Marin County Health and Human Services Department.
  • Yashica Crawford, PhD, Psychology Faculty, College of Marin.
  • Panel of community members: Lucina Vidauri, Wyna Barron and Erika Moura.

This presentation will feature several Marin community members’ personal stories to illustrate the ways in which systemic racism in Marin has affected our county, especially for older adults.
